Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with Ambassador of Kazakhstan Bolat Imanbayev to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
Secretary Grigoryan and the Kazakh ambassador discussed agenda items related to Armenia–Kazakhstan bilateral relations, emphasizing new opportunities and areas for expanding and deepening cooperation, according to a readout issued by Grigoryan’s office.
They also touched upon the process of normalizing Armenia–Azerbaijan relations, the unblocking of regional transport routes, as well as the economic opportunities that may emerge from the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity initiative.
In this context, Ambassador Imanbayev lauded the positive dynamics in Armenia–Azerbaijan relations and welcomed the mutual visits of civil society representatives.
The Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) is a connectivity project in Armenia envisaged under the U.S.-brokered Armenian–Azerbaijani joint declaration signed in Washington, D.C. The project is expected to unlock strategic economic opportunities, generate long-term benefits by promoting infrastructure investment, and enhance regional connectivity. An Armenian–American joint enterprise is expected to develop the route.
