Armenia boosts fruit and vegetable exports to EAEU countries by 15%

Internal trade in 2025 within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) reached approximately $95 billion, according to Daniiar Imanaliev, Minister in charge of Integration and Macroeconomics at the Eurasian Economic Commission, the union’s executive body.

Speaking at a press briefing, he noted that growth was recorded in several product categories in 2025. In particular, based on last year’s results, the food, textile, and footwear sectors are expected to grow by around 20%, wood and pulp-and-paper products by about 14%, and chemical products by approximately 2.3%.

Imanaliev also highlighted that in 2025, Armenia increased its fruit and vegetable exports to EAEU markets by 15%, while exports of fresh and frozen fish from Armenia to other EAEU member states rose by 21%.

The minister added that from January to November 2025, the share of mutual trade in the foreign trade turnover of EAEU countries amounted to 20%.
