Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has expressed hope that Armenia and Azerbaijan will soon decide to create a joint trade platform in one of the delimited sections between the two countries. Speaking to journalists and referring to the recent visit of an Azerbaijani delegation that entered Armenia via a land crossing at a delimited and demarcated section of the border, Pashinyan noted:
“There is a delimited section, and why can it not become a crossing point from both sides? I hope that in the near future, together with Azerbaijan, we will make a decision to create a joint market or trade platform in one of those demarcated sections, each on our side, and implement that decision,” the Prime Minister said.
"There is a precedent, a land crossing took place in the delimited section in accordance with the legislation of both countries, which is very good,” Pashinyan said.
