Armenian Ambassador, French legislator discuss expansion of strategic ties

Armenian Ambassador to France Arman Khachatryan met with MP Bruno Fuchs, Chairman of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the French National Assembly.

According to the embassy’s readout, the meeting addressed the expansion of strategic, multi-sector cooperation between Armenia and France, based on the strong Armenian-French friendship. The role of parliamentary diplomacy and the close collaboration established between the National Assemblies of Armenia and France was emphasized.

Ideas were exchanged on a number of regional and international agenda issues. Ambassador Khachatryan briefed the French legislator on the Washington agreements aimed at establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as on the progress of the TRIPP project’s implementation within that framework.
