Proud to be the first U.S. Vice President to visit Armenia: JD Vance

The U.S Vice President JD Vance described his visit to Armenia as “historic,” speaking at a press conference following a private meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

The U.S. Vice President said he is truly proud to be the first Vice President of the United States to visit Armenia. “I look forward to tomorrow, which I will spend in your country,” Vance noted.

He thanked the Armenian Prime Minister for the cooperation, emphasizing that he and U.S. President Donald Trump are committed to further strengthening bilateral cooperation.

On February 9, U.S. Vice President JD Vance arrived in Armenia on an official visit together with Second Lady Usha Vance and their children.
