Armenian Deputy Defense Minister, ICRC delegation head discuss joint action plan

Deputy Minister of Defense Arman Sargsyan on Thursday received a delegation led by  Daphnée Maret, the Head of ICRC Delegation in Armenia,  at the administrative complex of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the ministry said in a press release.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to the 2025–2026 joint action plan between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and the ICRC delegation in Armenia. Daphnée Maret presented the delegation's ongoing programs, positively assessing both their implementation process and the results of the established cooperation.

In turn, Arman Sargsyan highly appreciated the implementation of the planned activities, emphasized the importance of continued constructive cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross, and expressed readiness to consider and support new cooperation proposals.
