The 2026 Concours Mondial de Bruxelles international wine competition will bring together more than 400 wine experts from 65 countries in Armenia.

Professional judges will taste 10,000 wine varieties at the event to determine the best entries.

The competition will take place from May 21 to 23 (Red and White Wines Session).

Armenian wines will also be presented at the competition, Vine and Wine Foundation Executive Director Zaruhi Muradyan said at a press briefing.

Armenia will showcase its culture and tourism potential as well. In addition to the main competition program, a schedule of visits to Armenia’s winemaking regions has been arranged for participants.

“This competition is held in different countries every year. After long and sustained efforts, we succeeded in having it hosted in Armenia in 2026. I believe this is a very important event and a great opportunity to present our country and promote Armenian wine,” Muradyan said.

It was previously reported that Armenia outbid Georgia, Romania, and Moldova in the host selection process.

With 30 years of experience, the competition has become a benchmark among international wine competitions. Reputable judges, internationally renowned for their expertise in wine assessment, are rigorously selected for the event.

The Concours Mondial de Bruxelles is divided into four different sessions, allowing each type of wine to be judged professionally according to its specific characteristics.
