Secretary of Security Council meets outgoing EUMA chief

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, held a meeting on February 3 with Markus Ritter, Head of the European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA), on the occasion of the latter’s completion of tenure.

According to a readout by the Security Council office, Secretary Grigoryan expressed his gratitude to Markus Ritter for his cooperation and significant work, emphasizing that the presence of the civilian mission in Armenia has played an important role in ensuring security and stability in the region.

Armen Grigoryan wished Markus Ritter continued success and further achievements.

The head of the mission, in turn, expressed his appreciation for the support and cooperative relations shown over the years.

During the meeting, the two also discussed issues of mutual interest.
