Yerevan to develop district into major int'l business, diplomatic, and residential hub

The agenda of the Cabinet meeting on January 29 includes greenlighting a major development project in Yerevan that was previously approved by the city council.

The new project—a multifunctional center in the district of Noragyugh—will feature the Yerevan Downtown International Business Center, housing banks, offices, and hotels; an international cultural center; office premises for international organizations and diplomatic representations; parks and leisure areas; residential buildings; schools; kindergartens; social infrastructure; and separate residential districts for diplomats.

The area will encompass over 83 hectares.
