Armenia firmly committed to normalization with Türkiye, says FM

The Armenia-Türkiye normalization process will contribute to strengthening regional stability and prosperity, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said.

Speaking at the plenary session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), FM Mirzoyan said that the Republic of Armenia remains firmly committed to the full normalization of relations with Türkiye.

"Armenia remains firmly committed to the full normalization of relations with Türkiye. Continued progress in the Armenia-Türkiye normalization process—including the full opening of the border, the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the restoration of the Gyumri-Kars railway—will make an important contribution to strengthening regional stability and prosperity," the Foreign Minister stated.
