France backs normalization of Armenia’s relations with Turkey and Azerbaijan — Foreign Minister

France supports the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as between Armenia and Turkey, French Foreign Minister Jean‑Noël Barrot said at a joint press conference with his Turkish counterpart, Anadolu Agency reported.

In this context, he emphasized the importance of opening borders in full respect of state sovereignty, noting that this would help activate, strengthen, and ensure the prosperity of regional ties for the benefit of all parties.
