Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a consultation on tax policy, during which conceptual issues related to the development of the sector in the coming years were discussed, his office said in a readout.
Proposals aimed at improving the tax system and the expected outcomes of the reforms were presented.
Issues related to enhancing tax policy and increasing the efficiency of tax administration were also addressed.The implementation of reforms and the improvement of existing tools was emphasized, noting that these measures would contribute to the facilitation of tax administration.
Representatives of relevant departments presented their observations and put forward suggestions in this regard.
Prime Minister Pashinyan highlighted the need to review tax policy, taking into account new realities and emerging opportunities.
He instructed that the discussions continue and that solutions be developed to simplify the system and expand the use of digital tools in the sector.
