From May 8, 2018 to the present, the Government of Armenia has granted 438 customs duty exemption privileges to 310 companies, PM Nikol Pashinyan said on social media.
He highlighted that the process is an automated system and rejected claims of preferential treatment, stressing that conditions are equal for all companies.
“From time to time, attempts are made to create the impression that the Government regularly exempts some narrow circle of privileged entities from customs duties. In reality, this is essentially an automatic system of economic support that operates under the same conditions for all companies. From May 8, 2018 to the present, 438 customs duty exemption privileges have been granted to 310 companies,” Pashinyan said.
