During a visit to Utah, Armenian Ambassador to the United States Narek Mkrtchyan visited the World Trade Center of Utah as well as the headquarters of doTERRA , one of the largest industrial companies of the state, the embassy reported.
At the World Trade Center, Ambassador Mkrtchyan met with Jonathan Friedman, President and CEO of the WTC. The meeting was also attended by Miles Hansen, President of the Stirling Foundation, and entrepreneur and professor Paul Ahlstrom.
During the discussions, the Ambassador provided an overview of recent economic and political developments in Armenia and U.S.–Armenia relations. Mr. Friedman highlighted that Utah is one of the leading states for collaboration in the technology sector. Both sides emphasized their commitment to concrete steps aimed at advancing cooperation, according to the embassy’s readout.
At the doTERRA headquarters, the Ambassador met with Founder and CEO David Stirling. Mr. Stirling is the founder of the Stirling Foundation.
The potential areas and directions for collaboration were discussed. Ambassador Mkrtchyan toured the headquarters to learn more about the activities of the company.
The Ambassador expressed his appreciation for the Stirling Foundation’s support of more than 15 programs implemented in Armenia.
