Armenian Speaker of Parliament, Bulgarian Ambassador discuss bilateral ties and regional developments

Speaker of Parliament of Armenia Alen Simonyan met with Bulgaria’s newly appointed Ambassador, Nikola Nikolov.

Congratulating the ambassador on his appointment, Speaker Simonyan expressed hope that his activities would give new impetus to cooperation between the two countries, the parliament’s press service said in a readout.

The sides discussed bilateral relations, the strengthening of interparliamentary ties, as well as issues related to regional developments.

Alen Simonyan also drew the ambassador’s attention to the issue of Armenian captives and unlawfully detained persons held in Azerbaijan, as well as those considered missing.
