High-Tech Industry Minister included in Apolitical’s “Government AI 100” 2026 list

The Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, has been included in the “Government AI 100” 2026 list compiled by the internationally renowned platform Apolitical.
According to the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, the list presents the most influential state leaders who play a key role in the formation and effective implementation of policies aimed at the development of artificial intelligence in public administration.
It is noted that the list also includes Michael Kratsios, the US White House Presidential Advisor on Science and Technology; Omar Sultan Al Olama, the UAE’s Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications; Uzbekistan’s Minister of Digital Technologies Sherzod Shermatov; and Canada’s Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Innovation and Minister responsible for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, Evan Solomon.
The ministry reported that the list was formed through a multi-stage evaluation and selection process and includes officials and policymakers whose strategic vision and activities have contributed to the systematic application of artificial intelligence, the strengthening of institutional capacities, and the introduction of innovative solutions in the public administration system.
