Armenian Speaker of Parliament to visit Russia

Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan said on Monday that he will visit Russia.

He said he was invited by the Chairwoman of the Federation Council, Valentina Matviyenko.

“The dates have not yet been finalized, but I have an invitation for a reciprocal visit. My colleague, Ms. Matviyenko, was here with a large delegation, and I received an invitation for a reciprocal visit,” Simonyan told reporters.

Matviyenko visited Armenia in June 2025.
