Fitch revises Armenia’s rating outlook to 'Positive'

Fitch Ratings has revised Armenia’s rating outlook to positive and affirmed the rating at BB-, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Facebook.

Pashinyan said the decision by the international rating agency reflects growing confidence in Armenia’s economic policies and institutional stability.

He described it as professional confirmation that Armenia’s economic management and political will are gaining greater credibility in international markets.

According to the PM, the outlook change signals increased confidence in the country’s economic resilience and political will.

"Armenia's economic development process is entering a new phase of confidence. I congratulate all of us," Pashinyan said.
