No homicides linked to code of conduct violations in Armenian military in 2025, minister says

There have been no homicides in the military in 2025 resulting from violations of the code of conduct among servicemembers, Defense Minister Suren Papikyan said on Tuesday. 

“That’s how it should be, but unfortunately, in the past, we have had many such cases,” Papikyan added at a press conference.

He said that the Ministry of Defense continues its efforts to strengthen discipline in the armed forces.
