Pashinyan chairs discussion on draft science development program for 2026–2030

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan chaired a discussion on the draft Strategic Program for the Development of the Science Sector for 2026–2030.

During the meeting, Chairman of the Committee on Higher Education and Science of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Sargis Hayotsyan presented the assessment criteria for the science sector, general indicators, and the structure of the research and development system, as well as its harmonization with other state programs.

The discussion also covered the program's vision and goals, the outcomes framework, and key priorities for the development of the science sector.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of the effective implementation of state policy aimed at strengthening scientific capacity and ensuring the realization of the programs envisaged in this direction.
