Defense Minister Papikyan visits military unit, addresses strengthening army’s defense capability

Armenia’s Minister of Defense, Suren Papikyan, visited an N military unit of the Ministry of Defense on January 9.
During the visit, the minister toured the unit and familiarized himself with the conditions of service as well as the organization of the educational process.
Papikyan held private talks with officers of the unit, during which he addressed a number of issues related to strengthening the army’s defense capability, efforts to strengthen discipline, and matters concerning officers' service. Issues related to the social and living conditions of officers were also discussed.
The defense minister answered questions raised by servicemen and assured them that improving the quality of military service and implementing social protection programs for servicemen remain a constant focus of the military-political leadership of the Republic of Armenia.
