First commercial deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan since gaining independence – economy minister on fuel shipment

The train carrying Azerbaijani fuel into Armenia is crossing the border from Georgia, economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan has said.
"At this moment, a train carrying 1,300 tons of Azerbaijani-origin A95 gasoline, loaded in 22 wagons, is crossing the Armenia–Georgia border (Ayrum station), which arrived to Armenia via the Azerbaijan–Georgia–Armenia railway. This is not only the first trade-economic deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan since the establishment of peace, but also, more generally, perhaps the first trade-economic deal between the two countries since gaining independence."
