Defense Minister Papikyan, Deputy Secretary General of NATO discuss partnership

On December 18, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan received the Deputy Secretary General of NATO Radmila Shekerinska, defense ministry said in a statement.
During the meeting, the current state of the Armenia-NATO partnership and prospects for its further development were discussed.
Minister Papikyan presented the ongoing defense reforms and the transformation of the Armed Forces being implemented within their framework, emphasizing NATO’s significant role in this process.
Ms. Shekerinska reaffirmed NATO’s readiness to continue developing the partnership with Armenia.
The parties also exchanged views on a number of regional and international security topics.
