Government invests nearly $300 million this year in roads and community subsidy projects

In 2025, investment projects totaling around $150 million were implemented in communities under subsidy programs, funded by the state budget, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said at the Cabinet meeting.

He noted that the total volume of investments implemented with state funds over the year approaches $300 million.

Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan presented the major projects carried out throughout the year. Approximately 55 billion drams (about $143 million) from the state budget were allocated for road construction, he said.

In addition, around 2 billion drams were directed toward urgent projects, and another 2 billion drams were allocated under participatory budgeting programs.

Summarizing the data, Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that this total does not include schools, kindergartens, medical centers, monument restorations, and other programs. “These are unimaginable figures, and when we talk about economic development, the answer lies precisely here,” he said.
