An expanded meeting was held under the leadership of Armenian Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan with the World Bank’s Development Policy Operation (DPO) preparatory mission team and representatives of state government bodies, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement.
According to the statement, the meeting focused on discussing the reforms, priorities, expected outcomes, and key implementation steps within the framework of developing a new DPO program for Armenia.
The new program aims to promote competition, improve the investment environment, ensure economic growth, and support the implementation of reforms aimed at job creation.
In this context, Minister Hovhannisyan emphasized the importance of conducting in-depth and comprehensive studies.
