IBA World Championships: Armenia’s Rafael Hovhannisyan wins bronze

Armenian boxer Rafael Hovhannisyan (86 kg) won the team’s third bronze medal at the IBA World Championships.

In the semifinals of the 86 kg weight category at the tournament held in Dubai, UAE, Hovhannisyan faced a Belarusian athlete and lost by knockout in the first round. Hovhannisyan finished the competition as a bronze medalist.
