Armenia and Germany have concrete agreements on deepening cooperation in the energy sector, Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan said.
“We already have certain agreements regarding the exchange of experience, attracting investments, and other opportunities. Armenia has unlimited potential in solar energy, and if we can obtain these accumulators at reasonable prices and through good options, we will achieve significant progress in this sector. The next important area is the production of green hydrogen. I must be honest — green hydrogen production is still not considered cheap globally, but every year we see a steady decrease in production costs. Here we understand that, at some point, this too will become a very interesting area for cooperation,” the minister told reporters in Germany.
