Armenian MFA Secretary General meets ELIAMEP President

Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia David Karapetyan met in Athens with Loukas Tsoukalis, President of the Board of the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), the Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.

During the meeting, Karapetyan outlined the latest regional developments and emphasized the importance of institutionalizing peace in the South Caucasus following the agreements reached in Washington on August 8.

The discussion highlighted the Armenian government’s Crossroads of Peace project and TRIPP Route program, as significant tools for unblocking regional communications.

The parties also discussed Armenia-Greece bilateral relations and ways to deepen cooperation within the framework of the Armenia-EU partnership. Preparations for the 8th Summit of the European Political Community and the Yerevan Dialogue conference, scheduled for May 2026 in Yerevan, were also addressed.
