Boxer Hovhannes Bachkov reaches quarterfinals at IBA World Championship

Olympic bronze medalist, four-time European champion and four-time World Championship bronze medalist Hovhannes Bachkov has advanced to the quarterfinals of the IBA World Championship.

At the World Boxing Championship underway in Dubai, UAE, from December 2–13, Bachkov (67 kg weight category) competed in his second bout against Kyrgyzstan’s Almaz Orozbekov and secured a 5:0 victory and progressed to the quarterfinal stage of the tournament.
