Armenia and the EU adopted a new strategic partnership agenda in Brussels on December 2.
The document was signed by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos earlier stated that the Armenia–EU partnership will include stronger security and defense cooperation, as well as support for economic development and institutional strengthening. The EU will also assist Armenia in countering disinformation, cyberattacks, and other hybrid threats ahead of the 2026 parliamentary elections.
