Lebanon's newly appointed ambassador presents credentials to President Khachaturyan

The newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Lebanon to Armenia, Dima Haddad, presented her credentials to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, the Presidential Office said in a readout.
President Khachaturyan congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment and expressed hope that her activities would contribute to the strengthening of relations between Armenia and Lebanon. The President praised the special historical ties and warmth between the two countries and peoples.
The Ambassador expressed her gratitude for the reception and conveyed the greetings and best wishes of the President of Lebanon.
During the meeting, it was noted that relations between Armenia and Lebanon are based on historical friendship, cultural commonalities, and mutual respect. It was highlighted that “Lebanon is one of Armenia's important partners in the region.”
The parties discussed the possibilities of expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest. The importance of investing efforts in promoting political dialogue and strengthening business ties was emphasized.
The parties also underscored the importance of political and institutional cooperation, the implementation of existing potential, and the preservation and development of intercultural and historical ties.
Lebanese Ambassador Dima Haddad, in turn, assured that she would contribute to the strengthening of bilateral ties and the promotion of new initiatives.
