Armenian, Egyptian defense ministers discuss potential cooperation

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Suren Papikyan met with the Minister of Defense of the Arab Republic of Egypt, General Abdel Mageed Saqr, the Armenian Defense Ministry said in a statement.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Egypt Armen Sargsyan also participated in the meeting.

During the discussion, the parties addressed a number of issues related to potential defense cooperation, as well as international and regional security topics.
