Speaker Simonyan raised the issue of Armenian captives held in Azerbaijan in meeting with Greek Foreign Minister

On December 1, the delegation led by the Armenian National Assembly President being in Greece on an official visit met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic Giorgos Gerapetritis, the press service of the Parliament said in a readout.

The issues regarding the bilateral ties, the Armenia-EU relations, as well as peace process established between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the regional developments were at the core of the interlocutors’ discussions. A separate reference was made to the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity project (TRIPP) and the Crossroads of Peace project.

Speaker Simonyan also drew the attention of the Foreign Minister of the Hellenic Republic to the problems of the captives, illegally held and considered missing persons in Azerbaijan.
