Armenian Ambassador, French President’s Chief Military Advisor discuss defense cooperation

Armenian Ambassador to France Arman Khachatryan met with French Army General Vincent Giraud, the Chief of the Personal Staff of the French President and his chief military advisor.

Ambassador Khachatryan and General Giraud discussed a wide range of issues related to the friendly relations between Armenia and France, including defense cooperation, the embassy said in a press release.

“Ambassador Khachatryan presented the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan on August 8 in Washington, as well as Armenia’s efforts to institutionalize peace in the South Caucasus,” the embassy said.

Regional security was also discussed.
