Deputy FM, Romanian Senate's Foreign Affairs Committee chairman discuss bilateral issues

On November 25, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan received a delegation led by Titus Corlățean, Chair of the Committee for Foreign Policy of the Senate of Romania, the foreign ministry said in a readout.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues pertaining to the Armenia–Romania bilateral agenda, and also touched upon current developments and the deepening of Armenia–EU partnership.
The Deputy Foreign Minister presented the agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8 of this year, emphasizing the importance of institutionalizing the achieved peace and highlighting the prospects for economic development and prosperity opened by the unblocking of communication routes.
