Armenia’s economy grew by 6 percent in the first nine months of this year, primarily due to expansion in the services sector, which contributed 3.4 percentage points, according to a summary of macroeconomic developments published by the Ministry of Finance.
Other sectors also supported growth, except for industry, which had a negative contribution of 0.2 percentage points.
From the demand side, growth was mainly fueled by increases in private consumption and investment in fixed assets, contributing 7.2 and 3.5 percentage points, respectively.
