Armenian PM prioritizes digitalization in talks with Proud Engineers founder Taavi Kotka

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Taavi Kotka, the founder of Proud Engineers, a specialist consulting team driving digital transformation across sectors. Kotka previously served as the Chief Information Officer of the Estonian Government.

PM Pashinyan emphasized the importance of cooperation between the Government of Armenia and Proud Engineers in the field of digitalization, noting that digitalization is a priority for the country, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a readout.

He stressed the need for exchanging experience to ensure that the process is implemented smoothly and efficiently.

According to Pashinyan, digitalizing the public administration system will provide a new impetus to the efficiency of state institutions and the delivery of quality services to citizens.

Taavi Kotka presented Proud Engineers’ activities and highlighted digitalization projects and initiatives carried out in various European countries. He also discussed the principles, tools, and opportunities of digitalization, expressing readiness to work closely with Armenian partners.
