Armenian Deputy FM: Comprehensive, just settlement of Cyprus Problem essential for regional stability

On November 24, in Nicosia, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan had a meeting with Menelaos Menelaou, Negotiator of the Greek Cypriot side for the Cyprus Problem.
During their discussion, the sides exchanged views on recent developments related to the Cyprus Problem, including the current state of negotiations and the prospects of further development. Both officials reaffirmed that a comprehensive and just settlement remains essential for long-term regional stability, the foreign ministry said in a press release.
The agreements reached between Armenia and Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8, as well as to the ongoing process of normalization of Armenia-Türkiye relations were touched upon.
The sides underlined the importance of maintaining close coordination and regular political dialogue between Armenia and Cyprus. They noted that the long-standing partnership between the two states provides a solid foundation for expanding cooperation on regional and international issues.
