Romanian Senate’s Foreign Affairs Committee chairman visits Armenia

Armenian Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan met with a visiting delegation led by Titus Corlățean, the Chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Romanian Senate.

The discussion focused on the development of Armenia–Romania interparliamentary relations, as well as issues related to Armenia–EU relations, the parliament’s press service said in a statement.

Attention was also paid to regional developments and the peace process established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Speaker Alen Simonyan also drew the Romanian senator's attention to the issue of Armenian prisoners, unlawfully detained, and missing persons in Azerbaijan.
