Military helicopter deployed to Armenia's east to assist in wildfire response

Hundreds of firefighter-rescuers and a military helicopter are engaged in intensive efforts to extinguish a large bushfire in eastern Armenia.
The fire began on November 21, when grassland caught fire on the mountainside between the villages of Chambarak and Ttujur, the Rescue Service said in a statement.
No injuries have been reported.
As of November 24, 343 firefighter-rescuers, unmanned aerial vehicles, and a military helicopter are involved in the operations. The helicopter has conducted 23 flights so far.
Since November 21, around 1,200 firefighters have participated in the response efforts in total.
