Pashinyan lauds new phase in Armenia-Kazakhstan relations

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Friday in Astana that his official visit to Kazakhstan will boost bilateral relations between the two countries.

During a meeting with the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Pashinyan lauded his counterpart’s personal contribution to the development of bilateral ties.

“I believe that this new phase in our relations was initiated last year as a result of your official visit to Armenia, during which we reached a number of important agreements, some of which have already been implemented, while others are in the process of being carried out,” Pashinyan told President Tokayev. “This is truly a very practical and strategic partnership, and I am confident that during this visit we will ensure the further development of all of this.”
