Armenian Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan participated in the CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India.
In his speech at the event, Papoyan emphasized the importance of strengthening economic cooperation between Armenia and India, praising the longstanding friendship between the two countries.
“I highlighted India’s innovative and technological progress and expressed confidence that the summit will contribute to the development of new ideas and long-term partnerships.
I presented the main directions of Armenia’s economic policy—building a diversified, export-oriented, and innovative economy—and outlined the investment opportunities in high technologies, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, agribusiness, tourism, and education,” Papoyan wrote on Facebook.
Papoyan added that he also spoke about the Crossroads of Peace initiative, which envisions the creation of a modern network of transport, energy, and communication routes connecting the South Caucasus, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
