One new postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 100th Anniversary of Ofelya Hambardzumyan”

On November 12th, 2025, one postage stamp dedicated to the theme “Prominent Armenians. 100th Anniversary of Ofelya Hambardzumyan” has been put into circulation. 

The postage stamp with the nominal value of 320 AMD depicts the prominent Armenian singer, the People’s Artist of the Armenian SSR Ofelya Hambardzumyan (1925-2016).

The postage stamp also depicts the inscriptions “OFELYA HAMBARDZUMYAN” and “ARMENIAN SINGER” in Armenian and English languages.

The postage stamp was cancelled by the Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia Daniel Danielyan, the Chief Executive Officer of “Haypost” CJSC Shushan Aleksanyan, the member of the Board of “Haypost” CJSC Karen Margaryan, the President of the Philatelists’ Armenian Association Hovik Musayelyan.
