Russia continues to develop cooperation with Armenia, both bilaterally and through integration processes, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said, according to the Russian state news agency TASS.
“We continue to develop our cooperation with Yerevan, both bilaterally and within the framework of integration processes. We will continue to do so. Frequent contacts take place at the highest level,” Peskov said, commenting on the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service’s statement claiming that Armenia intends to replace Russian grain supplies with Ukrainian grain to assist Kyiv. The report has since been denied by Armenia.
Peskov stated that reports from Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service are never “baseless.”
