Father accused of murdering 3-year-old son in Armenian village jailed without bail

The man who allegedly murdered his 3-year-old son in an Armenian village has been placed in pre-trial detention without bail, the Investigative Committee announced.

The 3-year-old boy, who went missing in Tsapatagh village on October 27 and was found dead a few days later, was allegedly murdered by his father, Interior Minister Arpine Sargsyan told reporters on Monday. The child’s disappearance had prompted a large-scale search operation.
