President Khachaturyan meets Egyptian-Armenian community members in Cairo, presents reforms

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan held a meeting with members of the Egyptian-Armenian community in Cairo.
The meeting took place at the Armenian Embassy as part of President Khachaturyan’s visit to Egypt.
In his remarks, the President of the Republic of Armenia addressed current developments in the country’s public and political life, and then presented details about the reforms and new programs implemented by the government in the defense, healthcare, education, and social sectors.
During the meeting, the President answered questions raised by representatives of the community, which concerned Armenia’s domestic and foreign policy priorities, the presidential office reported.
The Armenian President earlier attended the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum.
