Armenia joins Germany’s IPD to boost export opportunities

Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan announced that Armenia has joined Germany’s Import Promotion Desk, offering Armenian exporters opportunities to connect with major German importers.

“This provides our exporters with the opportunity to enter the German market and export products to Germany much more easily,” Papoyan said on social media.

The decision to include Armenia in Germany’s Import Promotion Desk (IPD) initiative was made during the joint session of the Armenia–Germany Intergovernmental Commissions.

Import Promotion Desk (IPD) promotes the establishment of durable, long-term trade relations between importers and tour operators in Germany and Europe and companies from selected partner countries.
