Speaker Alen Simonyan meets with Vice-President of European Parliament, Co-President of Euronest PA

Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan held a meeting with Younous Omarjee, Vice-President of the European Parliament, and Sergey Lagodinsky, Co-President of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly.

Omarjee and Lagodinsky thanked the Speaker for the high-level organization of the 12th Ordinary Session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly in Yerevan. The Speaker welcomed the holding of the event in Armenia and the visit of the European partners, the press office of the parliament said in a readout.

The discussions focused on issues related to the work of the Assembly, Armenia–EU relations, and democratic reforms in Armenia.

The normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan was also discussed.
