Speaker of Parliament meets British ambassador

Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan held a meeting with the newly appointed UK Ambassador to Armenia, Alexandra Cole.

Congratulating the ambassador on assuming her position, Speaker Simonyan expressed hope that the newly appointed ambassador would contribute to the development and deepening of multifaceted relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom, the parliament’s press service said in a readout.

The two sides discussed bilateral relations and the development of inter-parliamentary ties, as well as regional developments and the peace process established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
