The Secretary of the Security Council welcomed the delegation's visit to Armenia and emphasized the importance of the Armenia-EU partnership, which is based on shared values, Grigoryan’s office said in a readout.

At the request of the EU officials, Secretary Grigoryan presented the U.S.-brokered joint declaration signed with Azerbaijan in Washington on August 8, the wide-ranging economic opportunities resulting from the unblocking of regional communication routes, and the latest developments in the Armenia-Azerbaijan normalization process.

The bilateral cooperation agenda and ongoing projects were also discussed.
